Mountain Bike Suspension Necessary What Parts/ Components/ Gear Are Necessary For A Beginner Mountain Bike?

What parts/ components/ gear are necessary for a beginner mountain bike? - mountain bike suspension necessary

How important things like disc brakes, suspension, etc.? What kind of frame? How fast? Another thing that I miss?

I want more than $ 400, so I said the top of the device is offline spend. I too am a beginner, if you use a bike ride type dust of the road 2-3 times a week, the construction of some bumpy road. After (we learn many things and decide what is the sport for me, I become a top-line model have).

I'm tall (6 ft. 200 lbs.) Particular attention to my size?

What equipment do I need? A helmet is mandatory, of course, but what else? Gloves, shorts, etc? Oh, and I do not wear tight pants. Sorry.

Finally, please do not to recommend cycling specific, if you use it as an example of a bicycle, that the pieces that we recommend. For example: "You must have a XB500. S 'Awesome!" Does not help. Proof: "You have an aluminum frame like the XB500 - which is useful.

Thank you for your help!

For your price range should be restricted to a rigid front suspension. A rear shock absorber has its full value will be difficult to find in your price range. Make sure you can bias high enough to meet their weight.

You can find the mechanical disc brakes in this price class, but would be willing to continue with the V-brakes. If the extra expenditure, which is used in the plates were cut elsewhere. Cycling with my son (KHS Alite 500) is with the disk centers and the necessary framework and a range of compatible update to the windows, then an hour.

You should get gloves, full finger or half finger of your choice. You will appreciate this after the first drop in the bulk rock. The shorts are not 100% necessary, but certainly is more comfortable for walking an hour or more. Baggy pants, coatings in many shops and mountain biking are available online.

You can check shoes and clipless pedals. I drive probably book a couple of times with regular platform pedals for gand the bike used, but the clipless pedals and shoes can make all the difference.

Remember to water. I tend to water bottles on my bike and a hydration pack when I use the mountain bike.

Also need a small bag under the saddle to take a versatile tool and a spare inner tube. You must also bring an inflation rate of the pump or by bicycle. You will receive a flat sooner or later.

Other than that, get a bike frame that fits. Chest is as important as leg length. A motorcycle with a top tube or rod that is too long or too short, it is unpleasant to you and is not so stable.

Good luck.

Well, I would also like a comfortable gel seat cover to buy if they do not wear tight pants. I do not like it, but it saves a lot of pain then.

The gloves are a must, and glasses. I also changed my bike so I think that should be in your price range, the previous answer is good enough for you. I love disc brakes.

Get a camel. The water is needed.

Good luck
